text. In all cases they are actually stored in lower case, and must be
requested in lower case!)

README.KNX is a detailed description of what's new in Jnos release 1.11f.
It is also present in the JNOS111F.ZIP. A briefer description is found,
as always, in README.NOW, also found in JNOS111F.ZIP.

UPD111F.ZIP contains all the sources needed to update the 1.11e release
to the 1.11f version.

JNOS111F.ZIP contains the complete source for release 1.11f of JNOS.
This source will compile for both MSDOS and Linux environments.

JNOS111F.EXE is an 8086 compilation based on distconf.h; you should
probably recompile by editing config.h to suit your requirements,
and by editing the makefile to suit your compiler and CPU.

JN111FGW.EXE is an 80386 compilation using BC++3.1 and gwconfig.h as the
config.h file, suited to gateway use.

LXJN111F.GZ is a gziped ELF format static-linked stripped Linux binary, which
runs under RedHat 5.2 (2.0.36 kernel). I recommend you compile your
own version if at all possible, as this binary may not run under your
Linux installation. In particular, it assumes terminfo files from std
ncurses are available and that /usr/share/terminfo is a symbolic-link to
/usr/lib/terminfo.

CMDSHLPK.ZIP contains ascii help files, derived from the 1.11 manual and
subsequent contributions, to be placed into the /help directory. They are
accessed via the new improved help command. This archive has been updated for
release 1.11f and REPLACES all previous versions (such as CMDSHELP.ZIP)!
Note that the truncated file names must either be extended for use under
Linux, or the Linux JNOS should be compiled with DOS_NAME_COMPAT #define'd.

DOCS111F.ZIP is an update to DOCS111.ZIP, and contains the latest
available documention for the 1.11f release of JNOS. Up to date copies
of CMDSHLPn.ZIP, README.NOW, and the mailbox HELP.ZIP files are in this
archive. The ASCII and MS Word-format manuals are NOW UPDATED to the
1.11 version, thanks to the efforts of Bob Fahnestock, WH6IO. Thanks
Bob!!

ASMOBJ.ZIP is an archive of the TASM-produced objects from the 1.11f
release, for the 8086 cpu. Those without tasm or masm may find them
useful.

ASMOBJ3.ZIP is an 80386 version of ASM_OBJ.ZIP.

ROOT.HTM is a sample http file. Put it in your wwwroot directory when
you first begin experimenting with the http server. You should create a
wwwroot/gif directory and place wwwlogo1.gif there (or remove the reference
in root.htm).

WWWLOGO1.GIF is a sample GIF graphic references in the sample file, root.htm.

*.MOD are diff files describing patches made since the release. The
patch program can be used to apply these changes automatically. See
pub/msdos/unixisms/patch12.zip.

UTILITIES, TIPS, ETC. THAT APPLY TO MORE THAN ONE PARTICULAR JNOS RELEASE.

== Linux Jnos are located here.
